Improving the region’s supply of
development-ready industrial lands
Wednesday, October 3
2:00-5:00 p.m.
121 SW Salmon Street
World Trade Center 2 Mezzanine level
(Refreshments will be provided)
Join local, state and regional elected officials, policy-makers and development professionals for a discussion about strategies to improve the region’s supply of development-ready industrial lands.
Recent studies show that the Portland region has a very small number of development-ready, large-lot industrial sites for traded-sector business expansion and recruitment. Those studies also show the tremendous job creation and economic growth potential of successfully developing these sites. The analysis identified a number of barriers to making sites within the UGB development ready.
This Oregon Business Plan discussion will focus on developing local, regional and state strategies to overcome those barriers to create a more robust inventory of development-ready sites in the region.
